Donald Trump staffers are facing accusations of shamelessly looting and stealing historical artifacts from the White house before they finally leave the office.
With America set to usher in new leadership on January 20th, observers have been posting pictures of individuals who have spent the better part of the last four years in White House leave with Statues, photos and other objects.
A video was posted by CSPAN’s Jeremy Art in what appeared to be a a staffer removing Abraham’s Lincoln’s bronze bust from the White House.
According to the Washington examiner, the bust was created by Gutzon Borglum who seats in the East Garden room, where it can be seen by visitors to the white house.
While the Biden government may likely redecorate the White House, works of art from the White House Collection are for the federal government and usually remain on-site even if a new president is ushered in.
“This is illegal,” wrote Kenneth Baer, one of the Obama administration official, who retweeted a picture of the president’s advisor Peter Navarro as he took away from the white house while carrying a framed picture of Xi Jinping meeting Donald Trump.

“These photos belong to the American citizens, and go to the National Archives.” said Baer who also noted that perhaps Navaro paid for them to have them framed but that did not still warrant him taking it from the White house.
However, The white house failed to comment on the issues.
