Apparently, the celebrity at one point confessed that he was overwhelmed by Kenyan ladies who kept flooding his inbox asking for favors and relationships from him.
Asked how he dealt with them, Mr. Stivo said that playing hard to get made him survive the Kenyan mafisilets whose slogan was “Mwanaume ni pesa sura funika na blanketi.”
To demonstrate how expensive and choosy he is, Stivo Simple Boy recently released a song with a white mzungu woman which made Kenyans speculate that she was his new catch.
The song dubbed Mapenzi ya pesa trended with the “two lovebirds” educating netizens to focus on real love as opposed to money in the relationship. According to the song, money is not only a weak foundation in any relationship but also the source of evil and breakups.
At least as at now, Stivo is one of those unique Kenyan musicians who rank high given his unique way of singing. Further, he continues to attract Kenyan slay queens who salivate to have him just for themselves due to fame and money.
