The Kieni member of parliament insisted that the Jubilee party must now embrace fresh and vibrant youths who will propel the party forward unlike Murathe and Tuju that led to the ruling party losing election.

Kega also expressed his disappointment with the old crop of leadership since they did not step their feet in Kiambaa to help them in the busy campaigns.

“Some of the hard decisions is to ask some of the officials of Jubilee to pave way for other fresh leaders to take part in the affairs of the party.”

“From the secretary general going down, they did not offer the leadership that we expected. We also expected to see them on the ground, we didn’t see them. We have to make some changes and some of the decisions we are going to make are fundamental changes.” Said Kanini Kega.

On her side, Laikipia woman rep Cate Waruguru sent a stern warning to Jubilee party and threatened to quit it soon if they continue performing dismally.

further there are those who feel that the ruling Jubilee party is quickly losing its support base barely a year to the next general election.

“Some of the key organs of the body of that party Jubilee are not functional. They ceased to function so for a long journey going into 2022 we cannot use a party that has serious structural and organ failures.” said Duale.

Consequently, kanini Kega urged Murathe, Tuju and Nelson Dzuya to resign within one week or else they would forcefully be ejected from the Jubilee party.

“We are going to eject them out of the offices because we cannot let our party die when we are watching. We have given them one week, they resign if not then of course we are going to eject them. We want to infuse freshness in the party of Jubilee!” Concluded the visibly angry Kanini Kega.
