In addition, he has claimed Midiwo died a millionaire at the expense of the hardworking citizens who have remained poor.

Miguna defended his harsh words to the dead, urged Kenyans to speak the truth because it liberates them.

It’s very important that we tell the TRUTH at all times. We must tell the TRUTH to thieves and maniacs when they are alive, but we must especially tell the TRUTH when thieves and criminals die. We do so for the sake of the LIVING, FUTURE GENERATIONS and HISTORY. TRUTH LIBERATES!

Midiwo served as Gem MP for three terms between 2002 and 2017 on National Rainbow Coalition (NARC) and Orange Democratic Movement (ODM) parties respectively.

President Uhuru led Kenyans in the mourning of Midiwo describing him as a brave leader who always spoke the truth.

“I have received the sad news of the passing away of my friend, the Honorable Jakoyo Midiwo with shock and disbelief,” Uhuru said.

He went on to say that Midiwo was a consummate debater in Parliament and he articulated matters of national importance and defended the wellbeing of Kenyans.

Uhuru prayed to God to grant Midiwo’s family grace and fortitude during this difficult time.

The country suffered a double loss on Monday with also the death of businessman Chris Kirubi.

Miguna still did not have fancy words to mourn the billionaire but instead, he went all rogue by calling him a thief.

Miguna went on to claim that the money stolen by Kirubi could solve some of the problems the government is trying to settle including the Universal Health cover and transform Kenya into a first-world country.

“The TRILLIONS OF SHILLINGS Chris Kirubi, Daniel Moi, Kenyatta and their fellow plunderers stole from Kenyans are more than enough to TRANSFORM Kenya into a FIRST WORLD COUNTRY with gainful employment, modern housing, food and universal COMPREHENSIVE healthcare for EVERYONE,” Miguna Tweeted.
