A Kenyan lady was the talk of town on Thursday after she went public with a written poster in a bid to get a man to marry her.
According to the lady, the scarcity of husbands made her come out openly and look for a serious man who could take her hand in marriage.
Apparently, the woman had friendly terms and conditions for instance, she did not mind the age limit, whether jobless with no salary and also the physical appearance of the potential man was not important. According to her, the most important thing such a man was to possess was “being alive” (bora uhai).
Moments later, the lady was seen posing for a photo with Mr. Right who was believed to be his new catch after toiling under the sun for the better part of Thursday in search of one.
However, some Kenyans opined that the middle aged lady was playing prank from the very beginning while others thought that she was serious.
In the meantime, Controversial Kenyan writer Maverick Aoko once again gave her straight shooting opinion about unmarried ladies and women in their 40s and 30s. .
According to Aoko, the single ladies in these age brackets are to blame since they normally reject a long list of men while in their 20s claiming that such men are too broke to date them.
Aoko added that most of these women not only send these men away but also play them with the so-called financially advantaged men (sponsors).
”Behind these late 30s and 40s women cursing men, buying dogs, hooked on wine and tweeting about Patriarchy is a mountain of men they broke, rejected, ignored and played while they were in their 20s and early 30s. Reality bites hard like cold wind on ********,” Wrote Maverick Aoko on her twitter account.
