Mutua has not elaborated why he has described the servant of God as a conman raising a lot of eyebrows. Most of his followers have asked him to come clean about how TB Joshua is a conman.

Some online users have gone ahead to claim that he was trying to make a living just like any other living person.

“Prof. you sell knowledge, right? He sold religion. You have customers. He had his. You both sellers. Don’t call him a conman, he was just out to survive. I guess you are trying to survive too,” one Twitter user has reacted to Mutua.

TB Joshua was the founder of the Synagogue Church of All Nations (SCOAN).

He will be buried on July 9 after taking his last breath on June 5. He will be buried at his church in Ikotun, Lagos state, and will be succeeded by his wife Evelyn as SCOAN leader.

Initially, reports indicated the pastor was to be buried in his hometown of Arigidi-Akoko, Ondo state, as demanded by the traditional ruler of the town.

However, it is reported that the pastor’s family and church elders intervened and decided the pastor will be buried in Lagos.

SCOAN elders have also met and selected Evelyn as TB Joshua’s successor as there was no succession plan for the church.

Evelyn, a senior SCOAN pastor, confirmed the funeral arrangements when she received Lagos state governor Babajide Sanwo-Olu.

Mutua’s harsh words will most likely attract rage from his followers who are all over the world.

Believers used to travel thousands of kilometers just to be touched with many testifying of receiving life-changing miracles.
