Kikuyu Musician Wanjaro Junior Missing After Threatening To Kill Himself In River Sagana

The family revealed that prior to disappearing, Wanjaro Junior threatened in a written suicide note that he would go and throw himself in River Sagana.

Wanjaro Junior further claimed in the suicide note that he had a debt of 700,000 Kenya shillings which was really eating him up due to his inability to pay.

“When I go missing, don’t waste a lot of time looking for me. My body will be in Sagana River,” read the message.

The Wendo ni Mugeria hit singer is a brother to the late George Wanjaro who was equally a famous Kikuyu musician. George Wanjaro sang songs like Wanjaro Marua ma Jacqueline and Date ya Mbeere.

In the meantime, Sonko News recently reported how a depressed medical student at the University of Nairobi has committed suicide insider her car at the Kenyatta National Hospital (KNH) parking lot.

The student committed suicide on Saturday by injecting herself with anesthesia-inducing drugs. Her name was Dr. Lydia Wahora Kanyoro who was battling depression and other mental illnesses.

Kanyoro,35 years old, was a postgraduate in Pediatrics student at the UoN’s School of Medicine at KNH.

Before she decided to end her life, she wrote a suicide note and even called some of her close relatives and told them of her plans to commit suicide as reported by K24 Digital.

The content of the suicide note was not released to the media by the police who confirmed the incident.

The head of security at the School of Medicine, George Onyango, reported that he spotted the body at the back seat of the deceased car, a Mazda Verisa, within the hospital’s parking lot on Saturday at 1 pm.

The body was immediately identified and the officials alerted officers from the Capitol Hill police station.

In the meantime, the search for Wanjaro Junior around River Sagana has began with the family hoping to get him alive.
