The events that led to the murder of Jennifer Wambua and the subsequent retrieval of her lifeless body at the Ngong forest has left many Kenyans bemused.
According to her husband Mr. Joseph Komu who works at the Kilimo House Ministry of Agriculture, he drove his wife Jennifer Wambua slightly before 7 a.m to Ardhi house where she works.
Later in the day, the husband came for the car to fix it at the garage and he was somehow shocked to find out that the wife had left her personal belongings inside the car such as her phone, her handbag and her packed lunch, something which was not very usual according to the husband. Apparently the wife had a spare car key so accessing the car was not a problem to either.
Feeling suspicious, the husband proceeded to the Capitol Hill police station where he filed a report of the missing person. Having made the report, Joseph Komu and the investigative officers made their way to the Ardhi house where they reviewed the CCTV footages of her movements into and out of the National Land Commission Offices.
The CCTV footages revealed that Jennifer Wambua left her fourth floor office alone at around 10 am while carrying a handbag without revealing to anyone where she was headed to.

“Already detectives have retrieved CCTV footage at her place of work and preliminary investigations show that she entered her fourth floor office and later left carrying her handbag, an hour later.” Said Komu.
The distressed husband further speculated that perhaps the wife was kidnapped at the parking lot after she opened the car and put the handbag there or she intentionally dropped the items inside the car before leaving.
Unfortunately, the body of the NLC official Jennifer Wambua who went missing on the wee hours of Friday morning was found at the City Mortuary after being identified by random herdsmen at the Ngong forest on Saturday.
