Jubilee deputy secretary general Caleb Kositany has been kicked from the party and his position given to the Cheranganyi member of parliament Joshua Kuttuny.
The removal of Caleb Kositany from Jubilee comes few days after Jubilee vice chairman David Murathe assured him that he would be expelled come Monday 3rd 2021.
“If you propagate or appear to be promoting the interests of another party, your deemed to have left the party. There will be a national management committee on Monday, I am putting Caleb on notice, we are going to kick him out of Jubilee.” Said Murathe during a live interview with KTN.
On his side, Caleb Kositanyi dismissed Murathe’s sentiments as mere threats, maintaining that he could not succumb to such intimidations from Mr. Murathe. Mr Kositany added that he will continue campaigning for UDA candidates in the country despite being the deputy secretary general of Jubilee.

However, true to Murathe’s words, the Jubilee party on Monday released a statement reading: “The Jubilee Party National Management Committee met today 1st March 2020, at the Party Headquarters, and in exercise of its mandate as provided for under Article 7(2) of the Jubilee Party Constitution removed Hon Caleb Kositany from the position of Deputy Secretary General with immediate effect.”
“Hon Joshua Kuttuny, MP for Cheranganyi is the new Deputy Secretary General of the Jubilee Party.” Added part of the statement from Jubilee.
