Activist Boniface Mwangi on Thursday, December 17, rendered his apology to nominated senator Millicent Omanga after the two engaged in a heated online argument on Twitter.
In a statement on his Twitter wall, Mwangi pointed out that he had disrespected himself, his friends, and those who believed in him by engaging in the spat with the senator.
“I get insulted every day and rarely do l lose it. Yesterday l lost it. I am sorry to everyone l offended. I am sorry to Millicent Omanga too. I was out of line,” Mwangi stated.
Responding to Mwangi’s apology, Senator Omanga said: “Apologies warmly accepted.”
The public spat surfaced on Wednesday evening after Omanga posted a meme that had been used to make reference to her body. According to her, a section of the Kenyans used the meme to troll her.
Mwangi however did not take the post well prompting him to react by demeaning the Senator’s work, claiming she had risen up the rank through her controversial ways.
Mwangi’s sentiment irked Omanga who replied by dubbing Mwangi a socialite activist who relied on donations.
Omanga accused the activist of relying on foreign sponsors by selling photos of the 2007 post-election violence (PEV) victims.
The argument between the two went out of hand after the two began roping in their family members into the quarrel.
Senator Omanga went on to allege that Mwangi could not prove the paternity of his three children while insinuating that his wife is loose.

“You’ve 3 kids, someone is working on the fourth one now and you’ll claim it’s yours yet you’re busy engaging me here when he is busy with your bed sheet. You’re a fool who did his KCSE at 40 years of age and still terribly failed. You can’t hold a candle to me. Bring it on boy!” Omanga tweeted.
Mwangi retorted: “I don’t have three boys. Focus on sucking Sugoi in peace! Trying to reason with a bed sheet is like trying to make water wet, it’s a foolish exercise! Go service your appointing authority, you’re just excess, useless weight in the Senate.”
