In a video that trended online for better part of the days, the man at the background believed to be Mr. Ayub urged his son to drive the vehicle as he recorded him.

While there are those who praised the man for teaching the son to drive, there are those who felt that it was not worth the hustle. Others suggested that he could have taught the young boy to drive at his home compound as opposed to using the busy public road.

Kinyanjui was nabbed by detectives and was arraigned in court this morning then charged with the offence of permitting a person who is not a holder of a valid driving license to drive.

The Kenyan law prohibits minors under the age of 18 from driving vehicles since licenses are only issued to those who have reached the age of 18 years.
