The United States police are pursuing a Kenyan man who filmed himself sexually defiling a disabled woman then posted the same for the public to watch.
The US police on Tuesday February 23, said that the whereabouts of one Brian Njeri remains unknown and a warrant of arrest as been given to that effect.
The Kenyan man who went to Leicester High School in Massachusetts and graduated in 2014 was working in ARCHway autism home as a caregiver.
According to the court documents, the police launched investigations into the matter after they were tipped off the unfortunate incident in November 2020.
A witness who did not wish her identity to be displayed to the public narrated that she found a number of videos of the Kenyan man sexually defiling one of the female patients in a certain office after she opened the man’s phone.
However, the victim’s lawyer Wendy Murphy said that the act was unfortunate, promising to put the authority to task to account how the rogue man left the United States.
“This is as vulnerable as it gets. Someone who is not only disabled in terms of their intellectual disabilities but also disabled because they can’t communicate. Under no circumstances should this guy have been allowed to leave the country. It’s beyond my comprehension to even understand how this happened. He can do this again and again and again to similarly defenseless people,” said the victim’s attorney.
The lawyer argued the video alone was enough evidence that would make the authorities press charges against the accused.
On their side, the police believe that Njeri’s employer issued him with a contract termination letter after he learnt that things were getting tough.
At some point, the suspect was reported to the police after he was accused of inappropriately touching the private parts of a minor in 2013.
To date, he has never been seen since he escaped on 27th November 2020.
