The cruel hand of death has robbed gospel singer Kambua Manundu of her son Malachi Manundu Muthiga Mathu who died moments of his birth.
A heartbroken Kambua announced her son’s untimely demise on a post on Instagram on Monday February 15th, saying doctors tried their best to baby in vain.
“What a privilege it has been carrying a life yet again. My little baby boy Malachi made a grand entrance into the world a few days ago. He was everything we hoped for, and more, much more. Perfect in every way. Malachi knew how much he was loved, and so he did all he could to stay with us. With the help of a most dedicated team of doctors & nurses, our little baby fought, until Jesus healed him by taking him to Himself. Malachi is now free from pain, and any worldy care. Our tears fall freely because our hearts are broken beyond words.
“But our faith and hope remains unshaken because we have our trust in a dependable God. A good, good Father. We may not know how to navigate the days ahead, but God does. And so we trust Him, a moment at a time. Malachi Manundu Muthiga Mathu. You were deeply loved, and will forever be remembered. Your Father, your mommy, and your brother Nathaniel, will carry you in our hearts always 💛💛💛,” Kambua wrote.
Kambua quickly got pregnant with Malachi after giving birth to her first child in 2019, she had struggled for seven long years with infertility.
Kambua and her husband Jackson Mathu only welcomed their first child together sometimes in August 2019, a boy Nathaniel Muhoro Mathu.
The mom of one announced she was pregnant with Malachi in mid October 2020 when she took to social media to flaunt her baby bump.
Kambua struggled for 7 good years to get pregnant after she got married to businessman Jackson Mathu way back in 2012.
The gospel singer has had to deal with critics since the very day she got married, some people condemn her for marrying a man who is way older than her other simply troll her because she couldn’t get a child.
Kambua however silenced her critics in May 2019 after she took to social to flaunt her burgeoning baby bump.
